25 Uplifting Travel Quotes that Will Make You Pack Your Bags

You’ve seen them in chic cafés, printed on journals, and plastered onto Pinterest pins and memes all over the web. There are some very cliched travel quotes that everyone who is on the internet has probably read a million times. Here are a few examples:

“Not all who wander are lost.” (J. R. R. Tolkein)

“Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.” (Unknown)

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” (St. Augustine)

Yadda yadda. You get the point. I didn’t even have to look those up before I wrote them – that’s how many times I’ve seen them. I got tired of reading the same quotes printed on every souvenir t-shirt around, so we decided to search around the interwebs for some interesting and inspiring alternatives. In this post, I’ve compiled a list of 25 of my favorite lesser-known travel quotes to help inspire you to book your next trip.
